St John the Baptist Cathedral, in Norwich
will be open for private prayer from June 15 on Monday-Saturday 11.30am-1.30pm and from 4-7pm, Sundays 11:30am-4pm. The Cathedral will operate a one-way system and the public should enter through the door off Earlham Road and exit via the Narthex.

Holy Apostles in Norwich will be open from 2-4pm on Wednesdays and from 9-11am on Saturdays, beginning on June 17.

Our Lady and St Walstan, Costessey, will be opening from 2pm to 6pm seven days a week from Monday June 15.

Our Lady and St Thomas of Canterbury in Wymondham will open seven days a week from 10am to 12noon from June 15.

Sacred Heart and St Margaret Mary, Dereham, will be open for private prayer for two hours following Mass. This will depend on the number of volunteer stewards. Our Lady of the Annunciation in Poringland, will be open for private prayer from 9am-8pm Monday to Friday and 10am-8pm on Saturday and Sunday.

The opening times for the three churches in the North Walsham parish are: Sacred Heart, North Walsham: Sundays (from June 21): 2-3pm. Tuesdays 2-3pm; St John of the Cross, Aylsham: Mondays 10-12 midday. Thursdays 2-4pm; St Helen’s, Hoveton: Wednesdays 9-11am. Saturdays 5-7pm.

You are very welcome to come in and spend a few moments in prayer, maybe light a candle and enjoy the peace and quiet. Please keep the 2m social distance when coming and going and once you are in the Cathedral. When entering and leaving please use the hand sanitiser provided. Some seats will be taped to help keep the required social distance. If you visit with someone from your household, you do not need to observe the social distance. There will no be toilet facilities available. A maximum number of people are allowed in at any one time, so you may have to wait outside for a while. Once in, please do not touch any statues, crucifixes or other devotional objects. Stewards will be there to make sure you are kept safe and follow the regulations.
